			CHECK it OUT and READ! We have a wonderful new library in St. Cloud. It's easy to use and there are lots of nice people who will help you. If your book isn't on the shelf, it can be ordered from another library and ready for you in just a couple of days! There are also many fun activities going on at our local library....and it's air condictioned. Get on over and check it out. Expectations this Fall in Mrs. N's class Please have your child read at least 80 minutes each week. Just like throwing a ball or playing piano, reading is a skill that only gets better with continued practice. It is also required in order to participate in our FUN FRIDAY activities. Please note how many minutes your child has read each night in their daily planner. Students are also expected to keep up with their math homework. This is usually a math homelink, but it is also important to practice math facts. Please use flash cards to help your child memorize addition facts. Your child will also bring home 13 new spelling words each week. They will be tested the last school day each week. (Usually Friday.) Please check and sign your child's daily planner every night.
