			Social Studies News We are moving through the history of the U.S. as well as taking time to study famous women and black americans that make this a great country. We will be studying the American Revolution and how the U.S. fought to be a free nation. Language Arts News At this time we have been working on Tall Tales and will be reading a wonderful modern Tall Tale titled Manic Magee. It has many messages for us to study. We had a great time presenting our plays and thanks to the parents that came to watch. Spelling continues on a weekly basis, as our writing skills do.
						Math News We are in our second journal and moving at a fast rate. We are working on fractions and percents. We are working hard to make sure we finish the book this year!
