Reading

All of the students are to be reading 25 minutes per night.  Two of the reading groups have assignments that need to be completed by 10/26.  You will need to ask your student which group they are in.  The Postcard - to page 70 by Thursday. 

Math
The assignments that I will show are for my math class. The students are working on place value and decimals.  We started Chapter 3 today and they need to do page 121-123, problems 1-4, 8-13(even), 14, 16, 18, 22, 29, 30, 32, 34, 37, 40(EC), 47, 53, 54, 64, 65. 

Writing

We are working on sentences and puncutaion.  We also have been working on concrete poems.    

Social Studies

We are working on Native Americans from the Northwest Coastal area.  

Picture Day is on Friday, October 7, 2011.
