			Who is Mrs. Frank? I am one of the Special Education teachers here at Madison. This will be my 11th year of teaching-Yee Ha! My job is to help students that are struggling with different school subjects and help them find ways to look at things differently and teach them specific skills that will help them become more independent. I spend my day in my own classroom and in other teachers' classrooms. This year I'm working with 5th and 6th graders. Math There's so much to explore and figure out in math! We are using the mainstream curriculum and lots of manipulatives to work on standards and IEP goals. No dull moments here!
						Reading All of my students are working hard on reading comprehension, vocabulary and fluency. We are using Guided Reading, book clubs, and repeated reading. We are also working on using reciprocal teaching to really understand what we're reading. There are lots of opportunities to read books you want to read! It's a blast!
