My blog is up and seems to be running. See the link to the right. Every few days, I'll add what we're working on if you want to see. Downloads will still be through here.

IMPORTANT: There isn't much homework, but there is the expectation that students read for pleasure outside of class. They need to keep track of the book and its pages. Students need 1,400 pages for a semester to earn a "3," which means they are at grade level. Students with 1,700 pages and 2 "challenge" books will earn a "4," which means they are well above grade level. Students are expected to write a little bit about each book they read.

This is seventh period Language Arts. Its full name is Expert 21, which will help students develop into experts for the 21st century. There shouldn't be much homework, but students will have plenty to do in class.

As noted above, students are expected to read a certain numbers of pages. This is their homework and they have to keep up and keep track of it.

This is period one. On Tuesday and Friday, we will normally have Study Hall. On the other days, we will work on reading skills.
