Biology is the study of living organisms. This course is a requirement for graduation. Throughout the year we will study taxonomy, bidiversity, genetics, and ecology - along with many more topics. All assignments, projects, quizzes, tests and their respective due dates will be posted below and updated frequently. 9th Grade- Planning Period 1- Biology Period 2- Honors Biology Period 3- Honors Biology Period 4- Lunch Period 5- Biology Period 6- Biology Period 7- Prep Online Textbook Username = kramseth2 Password = r5s3 Class Information Students will be assessed on daily work, labs, class participation, quizzes, and exams. All grades are weighed equally and grades are based on total points. Extra credit will be given at the teachers discretion. If a student is at anytime earning below a 60% and/or has any missing assignments he/she will automatically be backscheduled on our scheduled IS day. All IS time must be earned. Students are expected to have near perfect attendance and be on time to class. If a student misses class it is his/her responsibility to make up the work as soon as possible. 						My Links Late Work Policy Class Syllabus Online Textbook Class Assignments We are finishing up our Bacteria and Virus unit and will be starting a Fungi unit right after the holiday break. Ecology is the unit we will be covering the rest of the year. Science MCA II testing is schuduled for May 18-20.
