			AP: English Literature and Composition Students focus on developing analytical reading, writing and discussion skills. Reading of novels, poetry, and drama for interpretation, analysis and evaluation. Composition emphasises analysis and evaluation of literary works. LA 10 Students focus on: reading and evaluating non-fiction; writing papers for a variety of audiences and purposes; formal analysis of a major literary work. Imaginative literature studied includes novels and at least one play.
