Course Objectives
• To develop an awareness and appreciation of historical & contemporary films

Grading
• Tests: Each film or group of films has a 20 point test.
• Required work: Students must complete the film clip analysis and the final essay to pass.
• Reading packet: Articles correspond to films, and questions about these articles will be on each 20 point test. Return packet and notes at the end of the semester for extra points.
• Notes: Students will take notes for each movie and are able to use these notes transferred to one note card for the final test, not on weekly quizzes.
• Attendance and participation will factor into the grade.
