			En la Clase... ORGULLO m (a) (SATISFACCIÓN) PRIDE We expect that all students put forth 100% effort into every aspect of class. Be proud of every assignment, test, or project to which you sign your name. RESPETO m (a) (CONSIDERACIÓN) RESPECT At first, speaking Spanish can feel funny and awkward. So, we must create a SAFE and RESPECTFUL environment in which we all feel comfortable being ourselves and making mistakes. RESPONSABILIDAD m (a) RESPONSIBILITY Since outside of class we are surrounded by English, we have a huge responsibility to be in class to hear and read Spanish and to always be practicing both in school and at home. ABSENCES SHOULD BE RARE. If an absence becomes necessary, it is your responsibility to make up work when you return. La Tarea... You can expect to have an assignment at least three times a week. Please note: 1. Credit will only be given to assignments completed ON TIME. No late work will be accepted. 2. Completed assignments will be recorded on a “Homework Calendar” that should be kept in a Spanish folder at all times. 3. Parents/Guardians may track homework progress by asking to see the homework calendar. Any gaps between stamps will indicate a late or missed assignment. 4. Completing most assignments should not exceed 20 minutes.
						My Links Need extra practice?... Studyspanish.com Los Examenes... We will typically have a lesson test once every 5 to 7 days. Please note: 1. The best way to prepare for tests is to pay close attention in class and to complete all homework assignments. (More studying may be necessary!) 2. PLEASE be present on test days. If necessary, arrangements must be made to make up a test immediately to avoid receiving a zero! 3. Smaller quizzes may be unannounced and cannot be made up. Cheating: We expect that our students will be academically honest with all classroom work. Because copying an assignment or answers on a quiz is not evidence of your own work, no points will be given and further disciplinary action may be taken.
