			You Oughta Be in Pictures! All Madison art students (and some staff) created self portraits at the beginning of the year. I'm happy to report that all 600 plus portraits are displayed in the cafeteria hallway for your viewing pleasure. This IS the Madison School Community!! Folk Art Fun Second graders at Madison are studying folk art from different cultures. They have learned that folk art is handcrafted, sometimes uses scraps and recycled materials, and may be used for play, work, or decoration. The second graders will start production on their own handcrafted tin designs this week.
						Coast-to-Coast FIfth grade artists have completed research on states of the lower 48 and are beginning vehicle designs this week. Each vehicle design will incorporate facts about a different state.
