We reviewed rhyming and alliteration. We learned the star word "up". In Writer's Workshop we wrote our first made up stories. Oh the thinks we could think!!! Math: In math we reviewed tallies, taking a survey and counting by two's. We made a two's number line to help us count. We also learned that even numbers are numbers that can be divided in half. Snack Please! Once again our snack cupboard is getting bare. Please send in a box or two of crackers to share. The student's hungry tummies thank you in advance! Guided Reading Please remember to check your child's BEE Book daily for notes, homework and guided reading texts. Keep in mind that I do not necessarily meet with the same reading groups on the same day, so daily monitoring of the BEE Books is important.
