Extra Time Understanding Math

A simple way to get in a few extra minutes to practice math facts is to use the MUTE button on your television set during every commercial when you are watching TV at night.

When the commercial begins, turn around so they cannot see the TV. Use flash cards to practice as many facts as you can before the program you are watching starts again.

When the program begins again, turn around and watch until the next commercial. By the end of a half hour program you will have had about nine minutes to work on your facts.

(Did you notice that MUTE spelled backwards stands for Extra Time Understanding Math)
