			END OF TRIMESTER The last day of the first trimester is November 21st, and report cards will be handed out during your child's conference. Notes will be coming home during the week of November 10th informing you of your conference time. Please email me with any questions or concerns. Expectations Please have your child read at least 80 minutes each week. Just like throwing a ball or playing piano, reading is a skill that only gets better with continued practice. It is also required in order to participate in our FUN FRIDAY activities. Please note how many minutes your child has read each night in their daily planner. Students are also expected to keep up with their math homework. This is usually a math homelink, but it is also important to practice math facts. Please use flash cards to help your child memorize addition facts. Your child will also bring home 13 new spelling words each week. They will be tested the last school day each week. (Usually Friday.) Please check and sign your child's daily planner every night. Thank you.
