Welcome to a New Year!
I am looking forward to being your students' teacher this year for biology. With all of the exciting activities available for us to do in science, a safe and structured classroom is necessary for all students to feel comfortable and to experience success this year. A letter is being sent home with your student. Please read through the rules and procedures of our classroom, sign the letter and have your student return it to me.

H.O Chapter 1 assignment- Science of Life on September 4 and is DUE Monday September 8

H.O Active Reading Worksheet on September 5 and isDUE Monday September 8

H.O Paperclip Lab on September 10 and is DUE on September 11

We will be going outside September 15, 16 and 17 for plant identification- weather permitting.

Plant identification TEST is scheduled for September 18

Late Work Policy

Contact Information
Students will be assessed on daily work, labs, class participation, quizzes, and exams. All grades are weighed equally and grades are based on total points. Extra credit will be given at the teachers discretion. If a student is at anytime earning below a 60% and/or has any missing assignments he/she will automatically be backscheduled on our scheduled IS day. All IS time must be earned.
Students are expected to have near perfect attendance and be on time to class. If a student misses class it is his/her responsibility to make up the work as soon as possible. It is expected that all assignments are completed and turned in on time.
