Special Education/Pre-Algebra Mr. Johnson co-teaches Pre-Algebra class with Mr. Vaerst during periods 1, 2 and 5. Mr. Johnson also teaches Math V (Consumer Math)during period 6, This class is reserved for students who are on IEP's and are recommended by their individual teams. Please call 253-1600, extension 2404 for more information. Consumer Math Currently, students in the Consumer Math class are working on units dealing with "Earning Money" and will soon be working on "Buying Food" and "Shopping for Clothes". My Links Basic Skills Pre Algebra Syllabus PRE-ALGEBRA Pre-Algebra students will work with whole numbers, fractions, mixed numbers, decimals, integers, percent, and order of operations to solve problems involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Students will also be introduced to basic geometry, graphing and the coordinate plane, beginning Algebra, algebraic equations, and probability. A Scientific Calculator is highly recommended! There is also a link to the Assignment Guide which lists all of the assignments and tests for Pre-Algebra. Text books may be checked out at any time. The text book is also available on CD-ROM and can be used on your home computer. CLASSZONE is an online web site created by the Pre-Algebra textbook company McDougal Littell.
