Basic Biology Period 1 - Basic Biology (Room 711) I am excited to be co-teaching this class with Ms. Potter! For the rest of the week we will be learning how to use the microscope and viewing different samples of pond water. We then move into our exciting microscope unit. We'll start off with microscope problem stations and move into several pond water labs. Labs will be due by the end of the week. |

On Monday and Tuesday we will be viewing Nova's World in the Balance video. On Tuesday we will also begin a yeast population lab - which includes a formal lab write up. Thursday and Friday will be a combination of labs, part 2 of World in the Balance, and a current events article about human populations. There will be a mini-quiz at the end of the day on Friday - no notes. |
